_____ Slater and _____ Becker have grown up together, best friends most of their lives. Both coming from well-to-do families, they were sent to the same private schools are throughout their lives. But they were never the most popular kids, usually outcast by their peers, and so they always stuck together. But last year, in their freshman year at Lenox, they began to drift apart. Slater remained the loser she's always been, preferring to be herself instead of faking it just to fit in. Becker, on the other hand, has become a social chameleon, trying to fit in with a different clique nearly every month. He was unable to find the right spot, but this year is determined to find where he fits in at the school. Slater, on the other hand, is determined to convince him that he fits in just fine as her friend.
